The Electricity Billing System is to record the details of various activities of user. It will simplifies the task and reduce the paper work. During implementation every user will be given appropriate training to suit their specific needs. Specific support will also be provided at key points within the academic calendar. At the moment we are in the very early stages, so it is difficult to put a specific time on the training, but we will keep people informed as plans are developed. The system is very user friendly and it is anticipated that functions of the system will be easily accessed by administrators, academics, students and applicants. Information System it requires extensive use of some Database Management System to store, manipulate and handle the huge and complex record, in RDBMS we can act various attributes with the databases.
System Study is a continuing activity at all stages of the project. It is the process of studying problem to find the best solution to the problem, by which the existing problems are understood. Objectives and requirements are defined and the solution is evaluated. Once system study is complicated, the analyst has a firm understanding of what is to be done.
System study consists of two sub phases planning and requirements definition. They include understanding the customer’s problem, performing a feasibility study, developing a recommended solution strategy, determining the acceptance criteria and planning the development process. The products of the planning are system definition and project plan.
The system definition typically expressed in English or some other languages and may incorporate charts, figures, graphs, tables and equations of various kinds. The exact notations used in system definition and highly dependent on the problem area.

Existing System :
The existing system was a manual one. Whatever be the process involved in the system were done through register (files). There were lots of complexities involved in the system. When any customer takes new connections then separate files were maintained. Updating of data was very tedious job. It was not easy to do several administrative works like managing rates of calls, addition or modification of metered calls & customer entries. In the existing system all the office works was done manually. The manual work processes was time consuming and hence slow.
Proposed System :
Information is a vital ingredient for the operation and management of any organization. Thus any system should have the ability to provide error free filtered information after processing the required data. This system has been taken up with a view for developing a more sophisticated system that can be easily handled by any kind of users. The proposed system aims at efficient and timely information for decision-making, integrate with other functions, and reduce redundant work.Information retrieval will become easy. Maintenance of database as well as overall project will become easy. Security measure will be adopted, by maintaining the login of username and the password. Data redundancy will be greatly reduced because this new system is built using Visual Basic 6.0 as front-end. It entails looking into duplication of efforts, bottlenecks and inefficient existing procedures.
